Short version: some links earn us a small commission, none of them decide what we publish.
If you click one of the links listed below and go on to book or buy, the company at the other end may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing — the price is the same as it would be had you typed the address in yourself — and that revenue is what pays for hosting, the data refresh and the time spent cross-checking August 2026's ratings.
How to spot them without taking our word for it
Every paid link on this site carries rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page
source, so you can check any link before you click it. In practice they are: the
“Reviews on TripAdvisor” button on each restaurant page and the “Reviews” link on each
card; the food-tour band; the offer cards on Food tours and
Cooking classes; and the travel-kit row at the foot of those
two pages. Everything else — the “Open in Google Maps” links, the MICHELIN Guide links, the
links between our own pages — earns us nothing.

This table is generated from the same list the site builds its links from, so it cannot quietly go out of date when a partner is added or dropped.

What the money does not buy
No restaurant has paid to appear on this site, and none can. Affiliates never affect who is listed, what badges they earn, or the order they appear in. None of the companies above has any say in which restaurants we publish; several of them have no idea we exist. The listings are generated from public ratings data using the method described on How it works, and the order inside each section comes from a Bayesian blend of ratings and review volume — never from payment.
The reverse also holds: we do not drop a restaurant for being un-bookable, and a place with no affiliate link attached to it is treated exactly like one that has three.

MICHELIN, TripAdvisor and Google are trademarks of their respective owners, as are the partner names above. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them; we cite their public listings the way a newspaper cites a source, and the ratings themselves remain the property of the platforms that collected them.
