Who publishes this

cebucityrestaurants.com is published by Uncompromised Travel. Reach us at [email protected] — that address is the right one for corrections, removal requests and legal notices alike.

The “More cities” links in the footer point at other sites run by the same publisher. They are siblings, not advertisers: nobody is paid for those links in either direction, and they carry no affiliate tracking.

What this site is

An independent guide to eating in Cebu City, compiled from public ratings data on Google, TripAdvisor and the MICHELIN Guide Philippines 2026. It is editorial, not advertising. No restaurant has paid to appear, to hold a badge, or to sit higher up a list. The method is set out in full on How it works.

There is nothing here to sign up for

No accounts, no logins, no comments, no reviews you can submit, no forms, no payments, no shop. The one search box on the board filters cards that are already in the page and sends nothing anywhere. Reading this site does not create a contract between us for goods or services, because there are none on offer.

Accuracy, and the limits of it

What you are reading is a snapshot captured August 2026. Ratings move daily, prices drift, kitchens close for the season and restaurants shut without telling anybody. We do not warrant that any listing here is open, correctly priced, correctly located or currently rated as shown, and every restaurant page carries a link to the live listing precisely so you can check before you travel across town.

Inclusion is not a recommendation. The board publishes weak scorecards alongside strong ones — that is the point of showing the review counts in the open — so a page existing here means the restaurant appeared in one of our three sources, nothing more. Read the numbers, not the fact of the listing.

The guide is supplied as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss arising from relying on it; if you would be out of pocket should a detail be wrong, confirm it with the restaurant first.

Bookings happen somewhere else

Every booking, tour, room, transfer, eSIM, flight and insurance policy reachable from this site is sold by the platform you land on, not by us. Their terms, their prices, their cancellation and refund rules, their customer service. We are not a party to that contract, not an agent or reseller, and we never hold your money. If a booking goes wrong, the platform that took the payment is the one that can fix it — though do tell us as well, so we can reconsider the recommendation.

Trademarks and source data

MICHELIN, TripAdvisor, Google and the partner brands named on this site belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. Their ratings, rankings and review text remain theirs; we cite them the way a newspaper cites a source, and we cannot and do not license them onward.

Our own work, and the dataset

The writing, the badges, the consensus scoring and Plate-Off are ours; please do not republish them wholesale. The cross-checked dataset is a different matter and is meant to travel: it is free to download and reuse with attribution — a link back to cebucityrestaurants.com — at Open data. That grant covers our matching, derived fields and structure only; the underlying platform ratings inside it are not ours to relicense, and remain subject to the terms of the platforms that collected them.

Corrections and removal

If a fact here is wrong, we want to know and we will fix it. Email [email protected] with the page address and what is wrong, and a source if you have one. If you own or manage a restaurant listed here and want the page changed or taken down entirely, say so in the same email and we will act on it — there is nothing to buy and no tier to upgrade to, because there is no paid placement to argue about in the first place.

Changes to these terms, and which law applies

We update this page when the site changes; the version published here is the one that applies, and the review date below tells you when it was last touched. Nothing here limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in the country you are reading from.
